Angelica Martins

I am Angelica Martins, born in 1990 in Brazil.

 

I hold a degree in design from Universidade Estadual Paulista. I work as a costume designer, artistic director, circus performer, and educator. By combining circus with design, I research and develop sustainable costume projects that tell stories, interact with scenes, and prioritize safety for the artists.

In 2016, I co-founded a circus school and artistic space for children of all ages, offering classes and circus shows.

​

Main interests include costume design, props, and scenography.

​

My dream is to fly around the world, expressing my creativity. My first stop is Mexico.

My project Wings of Imagination led to me selection as the only Brazilian in the Emerging Costume Designer category at World Stage Design 2025.
